James Krangle was born in Toronto, Canada. He first became interested in becoming an attorney when, at around age 9, he began watching the long-running NBC drama L.A. Law.
James and his family moved to Florida in 1993. He attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA, and during the summers, returned to Florida to work in the Palm Beach State Attorney’s Office. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Dallas, TX, where he worked in restaurants during the day and played music with his band at night. James then moved to Brooklyn, NY, where he continued to work on his creative pursuits. Those years after college provided James with invaluable experience and a well-rounded perspective which he maintains as an attorney.
James returned to Florida and attended St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami. There, he further developed his passion for the law and built long-lasting personal and professional relationships. During law school, he worked at Dell & Schaefer, P.A. in Hollywood, FL; a personal injury firm. James was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2010. After becoming admitted to the Florida Bar, James worked at Goren, Cheroff, Doody & Esrol; a Ft. Lauderdale, FL firm practicing primarily municipal law.
Not only did James develop a deep understanding of the inner workings of government and politics (and the business therein) at the local level, he was exposed to a wide spectrum of legal topics due to the diversity of issues present in municipal law. Seeking a new challenge, James moved to Key West, FL, where he worked as an associate at The Smith Law Firm. Because Key West has a small-town feel, James was able to practice “small-town law”; he was able to work with many clients with a wide assortment of needs and devote individualized attention to each.
James returned to Miami to start James Krangle Law, headquartered in the bustling, vibrant Brickell neighborhood. He brings with him all of the experience he has gathered and, in doing so, is able to ensure that each client of James Krangle Law gets hands-on service above and beyond what is typical of the legal professional.
